Online Shopping V High Street Shopping

In this article I am going to write about the advantages and disadvantages of each.

Online Shopping (Advantages) - This option holds a lot of appeal. For starters you can shop in the comfy of your own home without having to shower and get dressed first. With the power of the internet you can shop twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

Buying things online is often very cheap, especially you you are looking on places such as ebay. Plus you don’t have to carry lots of bags around with you as its delivered straight to your front door.

Online Shopping

(Disadvantages) - This could just be my personal opinion but I find shopping online is far less fun than ‘real’ shopping. As a woman it just doesn’t give me the same happy feeling.

Secondly, a lot of online shopping stores charge for delivery and that said delivery usually takes three to five days. So sadly you have to wait for your items.

High Street

Shopping (Advantages) - Its a great way to socialize with friends as it makes a great day out. You also have the advantage on owning your items within seconds. The final plus? shopping equals exercise without you even knowing it, especially if you are carrying loads of heavy bags around.

High Street Shopping (Disadvantages) - Buying for the actual store usually means its more expensive and you will often find the product cheaper online.

Shopping like way usually leads to impulse buys. I have bought things in the past, only to regret it as soon as I’ve gone out the store. Oh well.
